So what do you do when you buy a new tent? Why, you go camping, of course. And since it’s no fun to do it the easy way, you get lost a couple times on the way to the start of the trail, walk in 33°C heat (Very bad idea! But in our defense, according…
#202 Visočica
Even though this weekend was supposed to be rainy, we decided to make a day hike anyway. Visočica, boasting one of the most beautiful views of the entire Velebit mountain range, seemed like the perfect choice. Surprisingly, the morning was sunny and clear and we thought we lucked out. Over the course of the day the…

So, it’s time to celebrate my 200th post with some gorgeous views and fall foliage. We had a great time hiking in one of Croatia’s most underrated national parks, NP Risnjak. Even though it’s probably one of the windiest places in my recent memory, I just can’t not fall in love with it every single time……

This week’s photo challenge theme is Rare, so I’m going to do something I almost never do and talk about something very personal: fear. In addition to a lot more writing than usual, some of the photos in this series are not my own work, but are here courtesy of my boyfriend who, apparently, doesn’t have the same problem…

Hey hey! How’s it going? A few more recent photos today. Last weekend we went to Velebit, the most beautiful of all Croatian mountains. Oh, the glorious day when the only thing I had to do was to do nothing at all.

A couple shots from our latest hiking adventure. We conquered Croatia’s tallest mountain: Dinara (1831 m)! As much as I love mountains of all kinds, this is really the kind of place you will probably only ever visit once. The terrain is rough in my least favorite way – rocks on rocks with a side of some…

It’s funny how just yesterday I was telling a friend that I almost never take photos with people in them, unless they’re friends of mine and/or they beg me to, and then I go through my photos from today and almost every single one has at least one person in it. And also, apparently Blue has a…

So apparently spring is almost here… Judging by the amount of rain and clouds we’ve been having these days, it feels almost like we skipped the warm seasons entirely and jumped right back into fall, but the nature won’t give up so easily. Can’t wait for the long(er) days, iced coffees in the sun, sneaker socks and loose t-shirts!
